5 Things You Need to Know to Plan an Epic Vacation in Less Than a few Hours

Why even book a trip if you’re not committed to making it epic?? Here are my five tips on making every trip a bucket list-worthy adventure:

1. Research before you go avoid Google and instead JOIN FB COMMUNITY GROUPS dedicated to Travel Topics

It’s the quickest way to get the inside scoop is to ask someone who has either lived there, travel recently or is well connected in that destination.

You don’t wanna miss scenic views, local festivals, private beaches or street markets simply because you didn’t know they were there. Research and plan your trip around your findings.

2. Budget to book a few bucket list experiences

If there’s something you’ve always wanted to do, book it. It’s 100% worth the money to knock something off that bucket list, and do it in a new country nonetheless. Sky diving, boat cruises, overnight tours - whatever gets your heart pumping.

3. Maximize your time - Create an Itinerary or have a professional do it for you.

Bucket list trips are not RnR vacations. This is the trip where you see and do everything possible so that you are confident you didn’t miss anything.

Don’t have the time or energy to do the nitty gritty planning for yourself? I got you.

4. Not all deals are equal… READ THE REVIEWS

Read the reviews, testimonials and look for content on social media that shares the experience you’re looking for. Now-a-days it’s difficult for companies to hide the truth about what their package has to offer. Remember you’re only on vacay once.. DO IT RIGHT.

5. Skip the planning and go on a tour, retreat or travel with an expert.

Sure, everyone can travel on their own, but going with an experienced group will ensure that you’re getting the most bang for your buck. See the most in the smallest amount of time since they already know where to go, how to get there and how to do it best.

Pro Tip #26 HAVE THE RIGHT GEAR

You’re going to want to capture these moments, so get the camera. Whether it’s a GoPro, FujiFilm Canon, DSLR, WHATEVER, you will regret not recording every single second.
